Yearly cost of popular AI tools by number of people

For 11 widely used tools, we calculated with the cheapest paid plan shown on the official pricing page as of October 28, 2026. Plans priced "per person" are multiplied by the number of people, and personal plans count as one subscription per person. When the official site only shows a yearly price, we use the yearly amount as it is instead of dividing it by 12.

FAQ

How much do AI tools cost per month for 20 people?

Claude Pro costs $22/month, so for 20 people it comes to $440 a month ($5,280 a year). Perplexity Pro costs $17/month (billed yearly), so for 20 people it comes to $340 a month ($4,080 a year). Kling AI Standard costs $10/month, so for 20 people it comes to $200 a month ($2,400 a year). All use the cheapest paid plan shown on the official page, with prices as of October 28, 2026. Enter the number of people and what you want to use AI for, and this page shows the total and the breakdown.

What is the difference between plans you need per person and plans where one subscription is enough?

Plans the official site prices “per person” cost one subscription per person. Personal plans are counted as one subscription per person. Business plans that say “includes N seats” or “unlimited users” count as one subscription for up to that many users. Other business plans do not say on the official page how many people one subscription covers, so they are not used for the main total and are shown separately.

How much do you save by paying yearly?

Of the 1,264 plans we list, 431 show a yearly price on the official page. When only a yearly price is shown, we add it as it is instead of dividing it by 12, so we never create figures that are not on the official page.

How much can I do for free?

227 plans cost ¥0. Choose “Free plans only” on this page to see how much of what you picked can be covered at ¥0 and what cannot. Free trials that only last for a limited time are not counted as ¥0 plans.

Where do the prices come from?

AInformation opened each company's official pricing page one by one and copied the prices (AI tool database, as of October 28, 2026). Prices are in the currency shown on the official page and are not converted. When currencies are mixed, the total is shown separately for each currency. For tools from outside Japan whose Japanese pricing page shows only yen, we use the prices on the official US pricing page. Tools whose US prices we have not checked yet show no price, only “Check the official site.” For plans without an official price, we only say “Check the official site” and never show an estimate.

The pricing data behind this calculator

AInformation opened each company's official pricing page one by one and copied only the prices shown there. Of the 507 tools in the AI tool database, we calculate with the 341 tools and 1,264 plans whose pricing we could confirm on the official page. We recheck them every 5 days (as of October 28, 2026). We do not copy roundup articles from other sites.

  • For plans without an official price, we only say “Check the official site.” We never show estimates
  • We never mix monthly and yearly billing. When only a yearly price is shown officially, we add it as it is instead of dividing it by 12
  • Prices are in the currency shown on the official page. We do not convert them, and totals with mixed currencies are split by currency
  • Whether tax is included follows the official page. Prices that clearly exclude tax are marked
  • One-time purchases and pay-as-you-go pricing (such as APIs) are not monthly costs, so they are shown separately, not in the monthly total
